Youth Community Facilitator
About Jamele
Jamele Greenwood is former a certified Youth Peer Specialist, youth systems consultant (i.e., behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice), and advocate in Pennsylvania.
Currently, he works with the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities Services as a Youth Facilitator for the Philadelphia System of Care Community Councils, where he promotes the behavioral health and wellbeing of Philadelphia’s youth and families in our great city. He also raises awareness around the importance of medical foster care in our child welfare system. Jamele is a member in the Mayor’s Board of People Living with Disabilities for the greater city of Philadelphia.
Jamele has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Strayer University Jamele and also attained his Masters degree in Addiction Counseling with a minor in Behavior Health from Grand Canyon University in June 2023.
Jamele has received the distinguished Achieving Independence Center (AIC) alumni award for his educational disputes and his advocacy for children and the child welfare system of Philadelphia.

About Lamar
Lamar Davis is excited to be a part of something great in the community where real change is affected.
Lamar is a 24-year-young Youth Facilitator that has lived in Philadelphia his entire life.
He can’t wait to meet and collaborate with people in Philadelphia and surrounding communities.

About Shelia

Family Community Facilitator
About Vanessa
Vanessa Williams has intentionally dedicated her personal and professional journey to serving the community and her family. Growing up her family instilled in her that “you need to be the change you want to see “ and that ” if you are not some part of the solution, that you become part of the problem! As a result she has focused on working to do what she can to contribute to improving the quality of life in the community.
For over forty years she has worked in volunteer and paid service and leadership roles in over a dozen not-for-profit human service organizations. Concurrently, for the last 15 fifteen years of that time she served as a Regional Director for IDD and Autism Services in Pennsylvania’s Southeast Region for a Philadelphia based not-for- profit.
In all her experiences there she has built relationships with a long list of collaborators/friends who have provided her with a never-ending resource of resiliency, creativity, hope, differing perspectives, coaching, counseling, understanding, listening ears, patience, and love. These are the things she hopes to continue to accrue and share in this her newest role with The Community of Care Councils, as a Family Facilitator with Philadelphia System of Care/DBHIDS.
Youth Community Facilitator
About Aaron
Aaron Kittreles is a person of lived experience within the behavioral health and child welfare system. He is a Youth move veteran who uses his lived experience within the system to inspire hope and confidence in other youth and youth advocates to take a stand for what they believe in most as well as to go further than what their upbringing dictated.
Aaron is the youth co facilitator for the Kensington and south Philadelphia areas where he works hard to listen connect and empower the communities he serves.
