Valarie Oulds Travels to Nigeria for #YALI2019

Valerie Oulds speaks with Nigerian counselors

In April, our very own Valerie Dunbar traveled to Nigeria on a Reciprocal Exchange to collaborate with #YALI2018 fellow Omotoke Olowo on a conference on supporting children with autism, both at home and in the classroom.
With the help of colleagues from Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services, Valarie & Omotoke developed a platform to connect and support parents across the world, provide ongoing trainings and offer a space to develop and adapt materials and tools to support those with autism at home, school, and the community.

Great work Valarie & Omotoke! #TheSystemThatCares
