Family wellness does not mean families avoid conflict, hurt, grief, disappointment, or disconnection. Relationships can experience rupture even within families that deeply love and care for one another. Session Two will create space for families to explore what happens during and after relational rupture. Participants will examine how conflict, grief, loss, unmet expectations, transitions, and other experiences can affect family relationships and how families can respond intentionally when something comes between them.
Following the successful completion of initial Growing Together Session 1, PSOC in association with JWCS, are planning an additional interactive, intergenerational family wellness experiences designed to deepen the conversations, connections, and practices introduced during Session One. Sessions Two will build upon that foundation by creating intentional space for families to explore two areas that emerged during the initial experience: how families navigate rupture and repair, and how relationships evolve as the people within them grow and change.
This four-hour experience will combine facilitated learning, individual reflection, family dialogue, interactive exercises, and practical tools that participants can continue using beyond the session.
